There are going to be like 3 100 loss teams in the NL

I could see up to 5. Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee, Cincy, and maybe Colorado, especially if they deal CarGo.

So Lincecum and Cain are their worst starters now?

peavy and cain, i believe.

I know it's baseball and stuff happens but there's really only 8 realistic teams for the 5 playoff spots. Cubs, Pirates, Cardinals, Mets, Nats, Dodgers, Giants and D'Backs. Everyone else is bad to [expletive] terrible.

funny thing (to kyle's earlier point) is steamer has the reds and marlins ahead (albeit slightly) of the dbacks.

Yeah I guess if they get a lot of things to break right the Marlins could be in contention for a spot (Fernandez/Stanton health, Ozuna/Yellich take a leap, Dee Gordon's BABIP) and while right now I can see the Reds projections being okay, everyone expects them to sell off so they probably won't touch their projections as of today.

Yeah, I was going to say the Marlins have a shot, especially in that division. I don't think the Reds have a shot conversely, because of their division.

DBacks are this year's Padres? Maybe?
