Gyorko for I assume very little is a nice move. I'd bet on him bouncing back a bit, and at the worst he can be the short side of a platoon at 2B or 1B where they don't currently have someone but do have platoonable players(Wong, Adams/Moss).

Pham will spell, but yes, he's the main starter. If Heyward returns and Grichuk is injured, he would play CF and Moss/Piscotty would play right, Adams at first.

heyward's total contract will obviously blow that out of the water, but that doesn't necessarily mean his AAV will.

 

that said, as hard as it might be to get a read on his market right now, $30M AAV wouldn't have shocked me to begin with.
