There is literally no possible way that any [expletive] team ever misses a 3 point shot against us.

We play so well in every way, dominate, and then every single 3 point shot falls for the other team.

This is not all on the defense. Illinois dominates the floor and the other team time and again bailed out by lazy 3 pointers. All on shots you wouldnt want your team to take ever.

Not that I'm 100% behind Groce, but I can't help but wonder where we'd be right now with a healthy team all year. Not crazy to think we'd have one loss.

I really hope this isn't the excuse all year, which in turn gives Groce a free pass for another year. No thanks.

It's only halftime and I'm sure they'll blow it but WTF, UCLA?

That was the worst court storming ever.

Looks like most of the court was guarded well but not all of it.

I highly doubt it will be, and it shouldn't be. Groce should have made three straight Tournaments here so far with a B1G level PG in the fold; if he'd done all that, he'd get a complete pass for this year ... As of now, he's gotta find a way, or he's in trouble.

Yogi and Troy Williams went for respective Crean tenure single-game highs with 38 points and 19 rebounds tonight.

Yogi played for 35 minutes and Troy for 33 against IPFW. lulz

Even with the injuries, i think this is a tournament team. They are the most talented group since 2005 team. They have star power, upperclassmen leadership, young shooters, athleticism. They aren't playing completely cohesively right now thanks to Groce's lack of in-game savvy and their penchant to give up wild and ridiculous 3s, but i'd be surprised if they aren't better than .500 in conference and aying well come the postseason.

Groce gets another year, i think. Finke, JCole, and Jordan are a nice nucleus to build on and i think he'll get the benefit of the doubt.

Odd timing for this quote after beating Yale at home by 4 points while getting outrebounded 45-19.

their two best rebounders are hurt. one will be back soon, the other not so much. the fact is that they had the skill players to win. Nunn and Hill are stars, and finke has the ability to take games over as a freshman. JCL was 0-6 last night, that won't happen much.

He's gonna get another year because we don't have an AD in place and because we are going to have to do something about football. It would be in his best interest to land a couple of top '17 kids early. He misses on Frankie's kid and I give up.

This year is especially depressing. IU has a really good roster (and would be even better if Crean had control of the players) but the on-court product is no better. Purdue will crush IU this year.

So much talent so little defense.

[expletive] off, everybody and everything. Mostly Fran. I don't think I like him anymore. I don't know.

i don't which was more egregious...making woodbury option #1 on your press break on consecutive plays (shocking result - two turnovers) or running the mike gesell brick/throw the ball out of bounds offense instead of going through dirk nowitzki with 8 extra teeth down the stretch.
