These guys [expletive] rule right now.

Mirotic looking a lot better, too.

It obviously won't happen this way, but I wouldn't be upset if I never saw Derrick Rose suit up for the Bulls again

I'm infinitely more bummed about the idea of Noah not being a Bull anymore. He's on the wrong side of 30 and too broken down, but he was cool as [expletive]. Rose being a brittle bust is bad enough, but combine with him being a creepy weirdo and it's, like, just go.

Same here. I'm really looking forward to when he's no longer on the roster.

I hope they trade him and at least get something for him. I can't see him with the Bulls when his current contract is up.

Why in God's name would anyone give up anything of value for Rose?

Yeah, other than swapping bad contracts, he's untradeable. He's much closer to being looked at as a backup PG than as a max player heading into his next contract. Can't wait to see his camp once they figure that out.

Noah won't get a big offer moving forward either, I know he doesn't really fit now, but I still kind of hope we keep him anyway.

Because some GMs take risks to get (former)stars with the hope they return to form

It'd be like giving up something of value for Prior in 07 or 08. Rose had played 100/328 games since his MVP year, before this season. Where he's 55/68 in PER out of PG's. At his salary, with the baggage he brings on TOP of injuries and rapidly declining play, there's no chance he's got value.

The best value in could see for Rose is something like Rose for Joe Johnson where a team going nowhere accepts an extra year of a younger player who they think is worth a gamble for his upside. The Bulls in turn would get out of their bad contract a year early.

Or it could be to a non or fringe-contender that could pick up flexibility by offloading years. I happen to have one in mind that could work.

Rose + Sac pic + Bulls 2017 1st for Omer Asik and Tyreke Evans.

Asik is dead weight, has 5 more years at 9+mil and I'm sure NO would appreciate that flexibility for AD's prime years.

Rose is a better gamble where there is an excellent backup PG (Jrue)

The pelicans don't look to be close to contending for the duration of Derrick's contract, but it's not like a return to form would be wasted if it did happen, as AD + 90% Rose would be formidable.

Only a few seasons until he qualifies as sneaky veteran status.

can that stupid weirdo just dunk a ball one time

Has he dunked once this year?

i don't even remember him dunking since the second injury. i remember him saying something about how he wasn't gonna dunk anymore because landing from dunks was the reason for all his injuries. like wtf you weirdo.

The game against OKC on Christmas, they originally credited him for a dunk on a layup, but took it away from him.

I just wish he would be able to do what he did last night on a consistent basis. He still hasn't lost any of his speed from all of the knee surgeries -- just be more aggressive.

I wish he could too but I think that's the problem. Physically he can't do that 82 games plus playoffs. He will have his moments where he can be electrifying but it's not going to be every night. Maybe I'll be proven wrong.
