In a nutshell, He said that he something along the lines of...he doesn't agree with the gay lifestyle but that doesn't mean he would not accept and get to know a gay person. He is a devout Christian and is of the viewpoint that homosexuality is wrong, but says that one should dislike the action but still love the person.
