Wild Card Game

Not sure where to put this since there is no Wild Card Game thread and the Wrigley Renovations thread seems like a bad fit, but the Cubs are trying to gain approval to be able to show the Wild Card game at Wrigley on the Jumbotron. Season ticket holders would have first dibs.

I've already instructed the wife and kids to be upstairs or out of the house. If they win I'll cry. If they lose I'll cry, swear, and throw stuff. Either way I'll be in torture until it's over. Nobody wants to see that and I'm not subjecting anyone to it.

 

It's just the one game thing that makes it awful. I'll be alright in a series unless it comes down to one game.

I'm already getting that nervous feeling in the pit of my gut just thinking about the possibility of losing that game. I'm also seriously considering putting in a request for next Thursday off work because I don't think I will be able to sleep if they win and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to function for a whole day (at least) if they lose.
