oh thank goodness the Fox Saturday crew is doing this suspended game, I was worried I'd have to choose between the Cards crew and Brennaman

hahaha yesss

Wednesday's loss and that 2 out 2 run homer game hurt a little bit more right now. The late season run for a division title will be more awesome and dramatic though.

and chapman finishes them with hilarious ease

Woo hoo! 1-2 more games and I say we start rounding up the doubters who stopped caring about how the Cardinals were doing

they deserved to be called out then and now they deserve to be tarred and feathered

Also had the Pedro Strop - Bob Costas game and the blown five run lead game.

Outside of winning the division, of course, my next favorite option would be facing the Cards in the one game WC and the Pirates in the Division series. Cole in one game and STL in a series is the toughest path to the NLCS, IMO.

I don't know if I've made up my mind on that front yet. Cole is tougher than whoever the Cardinals will throw(Wacha? Lackey?), but at the same time, facing Cole twice(plus Liriano once) might make the NLDS tougher with Pittsburgh, especially since the Cardinals rotation depth might be fading. The Pirates have a much, much better offense too.

arrieta will triumph over anybody in his way and the stupid shitty cardinals won't be tough to do anything to

I would much rather play the Cardinals.

If we win we kill any sort of "fear" of playing the Cardinals for the entirety of this run with the current core. If we lose, at least it's in 1 game and not some agonizingly frustrsting 3-5 games.

And then you go into the actual match ups and I think the Cubs have a better chance of winning against St Louis. Plus Matheny would find some way to [expletive] over the Cardinals.

But let's just win the division so we let the other two worry about it

If we had finished off the sweep against the Cardinals, we'd be bored by the end of the season. At this rate, we won't clinch the division until the final couple days. It's more entertaining this way.

I've watched about 20 minutes of the Yankees-Blue Jays game and there's been two ~315 ft homers to RF. Bryant would hit 60 homers if he were a Yankee.
