It is extremely pleasing to watch the Cards enter a tailspin, even if it's still a remote chance it means anything. Them going on an extremely poor stretch *can* happen.

 

No reason not to entertain these notions, I mean otherwise the rest of the season is pretty dull. :D

I'm still pissed off enough from yesterday that part of me wants the Pirates to pass the Cards so we can be the ones to end St. Louis' season, in front of the bfib.

 

Also, it's fun to see the Cards regressing to the mean at the worst possible time.

I can't believe how many people want the Pirates to win. I don't buy into the argument about wanting the Cardinals for 1 game instead of a 5-game series (outside of I really hate the Cardinals and I would rather the fate was decided swiftly so I didn't have to agonize over it so much - but that's a dumb reason). I'm pretty sure a one game playoff is always a little nerve-racking, but I just don't think there's a tougher place to play on the road than PNC Park right now in all of MLB.
