It's now a week since Schwarber has started at catcher. Obviously he wasn't going to catch today, but I'm curious how many games he'll get back there.

Probably only occasional this season. The games are too important down the stretch to have him learning back there.

It'll depend on Montero's health, to a certain extent, and also a little bit on how well this Coghlan at second thing works. If Montero needs a few days, they'll need to decide if Coghlan (LF)/Schwarber ©/Castro (2B) is better than Schwarber (LF)/Coghlan (2B)/Ross ©. I'd like to think option A is better, but who knows what Maddon thinks.

Let's win this one and then steam roll the white sox next series. Even with our record and winning 12 of 13 their fans are still completely arrogant morons thinking their team is still better and the " Flubbies suck" and were going to get smoked at the Cellblock...Beat the hell out of everyone, Cubs.

Best relationship I ever had was with a Packers/Brewers fan. If anything, I'd enjoy playfully antagonistic over ending up with someone who is a terrible, terrible Chicago fan, which, let's face it, is pretty much impossible to avoid.

Pass. I need my wife to be a source of support when my team crushes me, or celebrate with me when they succeed. There's no shortage of people out there to ridicule my teams failures, or minimize their successes. I don't need it in my house.

This is probably the best thing about being married to someone who doesn't care about sports. Having a reminder right next to you that emotional investment in this stuff is inherently a bit crazy helps to keep things in perspective after a tough loss.

Dating a Cubs fan and you're likely to be "reassured" by something like, "well, that's what happens when you get rid of a team leader like Darwin Barney!"

You've clearly been deeply wounded by someone.

Never actually dated a Cubs fan; had a few relationships where I kinda/hoperfully turned them into Cubs fans, but I think I've consciously avoided it. What if one night they walk into the bedroom wearing nothing but a Theriot shirsey?

Nothing wrong with hate sex.

If you're able to turn them into Cubs fans, surely you can turn them from a bad Cubs fan into a good one.

My wife is technically a Sox fan but would rather watch anything else on tv than baseball.

We were a 1 TV house for a while and now are a two TV house so hopefully I'll get to watch more baseball and less real housewives now.

I can't get myself to do it. I literally feel like I am stabbing someone in the back. Again, I am not saying you guys are evil for following them, but am curious to know how you pull it off.

I had hatred for the Cubs when I was like 16. Do people still have hatred as adults?

Yea I guess technically was bad word choice. she would claim to be a Sox fan, but would never willing watch a game on TV.

Basically Blackhawks is what I've watched a lot of the past two years because she enjoys that the most. And she'll leave me be on Sundays for football season

Is it me or has Lester had about 60% of his starts be day games?

This will be Lester's 10th daytime start vs. 13 under the lights, or 43.4% daytime starts. Overall, this is the CUBS' 45th day game vs. 68 night games, or 40.2% day games.

Where does that rank on the Cubs?

Arrieta is the one I feel starts all the day gams. It seems like I am avoiding twitter and NSBB every Friday and Jake is the starter.

I don't keep any numbers on the rest of the league, so I don't know for sure...... but I'd bet you a nickel the CUBS still play more day games than anybody.
