yeah i've still gotten a lot of use out of that jersey shirt the last couple months because he hits the ball 10,000 mph

It feels like Soler is the victim not only of absurdly bad strike calls but also seems to the one who hits into the most web gems of anyone on this team.

 

He could definitely hit for more power but he's still turning in roughly an average MLB player's bat right now, which is fine for a rookie, and seems more lackluster given Bryant, Schwarber and to some extent, Russell, who has struggled even more with the bat but has been great defensively and is 2 years younger.
