This is who I think it is, right?

Does Roast not know what "give credence to" means?

i thought he might've missed a "no" in there but maybe that's too much credit

Why would she or Bernstein owe anyone an apology?

The Kane lunatics on twitter think that those two were largely convicting Kane prior to any charges being filed. Roast is trying to argue in other tweets that he doesn't count himself in that crowd, but instead was concerned about the way everything was reported...something something.

He has a civic duty to his 19 followers to uphold high standards of journalistic integrity.

"IT'S ABOUT ETHICS IN *BLANK* JOURNALISM" never fails to be hilarious. These dopes would love it if this meant that legally nobody could think or say that they believe Kane did it.

Not sure why so many people are actually assuming Kane did nothing wrong and is actually a victim in this case. I really need to stop reading some of the filth on FB and Twitter.

Hell, Gamergate took that argument to it's extreme and has used ethics in journalism as an excuse for all kinds of horrible harassment. But that's getting away from the Kane thing.

Bernstein owes no apology, but his assertion that the Blackhawks had a responsibility to act, by which I mean cut him, was insanely stupid. Kane is still an asset and you don't throw assets away unless you're sure they've done something wrong.

I mean I'm still in the market for a new shersey.

Well, if he did nothing wrong then he is a victim.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not?

Civil suit announced in 3....2....1...

I doubt it. The prosecutor basically all but said Kane didn't do it...

"The totality of the credible evidence -- the proof -- does not sufficiently substantiate the complainant's allegation that she was raped by Patrick Kane and this so-called 'case' is rife with reasonable doubt," Sedita wrote in a statement released Thursday.

Sedita said the reasons for dropping the case include "significant material inconsistencies" in the accounts of the accuser and other witnesses, and that physical evidence tended "to contradict" her claim that she was raped on Kane's bed.

Inconsistencies and contradictions...those aren't "maybe he did it" words.

reasonable doubt isn't a part of the civil suit though, correct?
