Alcantara?

Alcantara is who I choose to sacrifice to the "at least one prospect must fail gods" so that Javy turns into a beast.

if its alcantara i guess the + is that he is speedy as a pinch runner, switch hit, and can play any position pretty good defensively. however he will end up striking out about 50% of the time i imagine

You assume this based on the fact that he's never struck out at anywhere close to that rte at any level, including the majors?

Mike Baxter is coming up

Don't understand how that makes any sense, he's strictly a 1st baseman is he not? What a waste of a roster spot.

He has played OF for all but 2 of his 125 games as a major leaguer.

yeah like others said he has played of most of his career however his numbers are very underwhelming. oh well more than likely this is a temporary thing until denforia/la stella is available.

BR says he's an OF and pinch runner. He's still living the dream. Salute.

Ah well at least he has a small amount of versatility, wasn't aware he could play the outfield. He's an easy guy to release if they need the roster spot. There were other guys I'd rather see given a shot, but it's not the end of the world.

Confusing. Why not Villanueva? Why not Chambers if you absolutely must have a LH OF? There's probably 40 man implications to this last one, but Andreoli is killing it in Iowa and he's got a 4th OF ceiling. Let him meet his future today if the alternative is Baxter.

Oh, Andreoli's right handed, I always forget that.

in his mlb career after every time he was called up it ended with being released by said team. maybe they need to clear some Iowa room for Vogelbachs?

1. This is awesome

2. Welington is doing well this year. .807 OPS and 1.2 WAR. Good for him. Always liked him. Knowing what we know now with Schwarber, holding on to him instead of trading for Montero would have probably been the right move.
