Not sure how to react, I'm used to being on the other side of this kind of game.

lol, yeah. This game was really pissing me off through 8.2 innings.

Bullpen looks great, loving Alcantara's approach and the overall aggressiveness on the bases, and once Bryant gets here, this lineup is going to be sick. Going to be a fun year.

I'm not too worried about the offense. If they keep getting runners on, things will sort themselves out. There have been some bad ABs, but quite a bit of bad babip luck. I do have a little bit of (irrational, hopefully) growing fear about Rizzo, though.

Why? I think Rizzo has had some really good at bats, least of our worries.

lol that pitch was such vintage hawkins. jump ahead 0-2 then inexplicably throw a belt-high, middle of the plate meatball.

There were a few times when Hawkins was ahead in the count that the catcher motioned for him to keep the ball down, and every time he elevated it. In the Olt AB, it turned into top of the zone heater. When I saw him motion to keep the ball down on the 0-2 to Fowler, I had a feeling a meatball might be coming.

Like I said, it's irrational. He has put together good ABs, and has been victimized by some really bad strike calls early.

On the other hand, Soler's approach hasn't seemed to be quite what is was in ST, at least not consistently, thus far. I'm sure he'll settle down.

I wish I could have watched this, but MLBTV was being a [expletive] [expletive] [expletive].

I'm blacked out of the Cubs' broadcasts down here, but it was worth it to hear the Rox broadcast in the ninth today.

And really, outside of the ninth it was a pretty aggravating game to watch.

Not blacked out here; the game's TV feeds just wouldn't ever kick in.
