So what are everyone's reactions to the draft overall?

I really can't complain about it. I'm a little unsure of the Langford and Fabujule picks, but neither are head scratchers.

In the first I wanted Beasley, but the potential for White is obvious and the pick is already growing on me.

My reaction too. There weren't any head scratchers or crazy reaches like Emery and Angelo had. I can see where the players drafted will fit (no McClellin picked for a 4-3 defense) and they sound like they were BPA at that time. Of course there are so many holes on this team, you can go BPA at nearly any position and still be able to fill a hole.

I was trying to figure out how the front 7 will shake out given the additional of Goldman. I'm thinking the nickel/pass rush situations will bring the OLB's into the DL. Not sure who's who among the rest of the LB, so they are pretty interchangeable in the below.

3-4

5T: McDonald

NT: Goldman/Ratliff

3T: Jenkins/Ferguson

OLB: Houston/Acho

ILB: Bostic/McClellin

ILB: Foster/Jones

OLB: McPhee

Nickel:

DE: Young

DT: McPhee

DT: Ratliff/Houston

DE: Allen

LB: Bostic/McClellin

LB: Foster/Jones

Draft grades are don't mean a ton but everyone I see has graded the Bears draft favorably so I guess that's good. They needed help everywhere so the positions don't matter...seems like they got BPA on most picks. A little surprised they didn't pick up a QB...wondering if they are planning to stick with Cutler for awhile or if not what their long term plan is.

I think they'll stick with Cutler until they have a viable replacement. The QB crop was weak so there wasn't going to be a good value there. The UDFA they signed has as good of a chance as any of the later picks to develop (which isn't saying much).

7: Chicago Bears

Kevin White, WR, West Virginia

Brandon Marshall is gone but fear not Bears fans because Kevin White is in town. A beast of a receiver, his physicality and ability to win downfield scared many a college defensive back and promise to do the same in the NFL. Only Amari Cooper forced more missed tackles, and only Devin Smith had more deep touchdowns (7) than the talented wideout. A truly explosive player, the tandem of him and Alshon Jeffery is one that rightly has the Bears fans in attendance sitting very pretty. This fit makes all kinds of sense.

39. Chicago Bears

Eddie Goldman, ID, Florida State

What He Brings: An ability to stand up and be counted at the line of scrimmage. Won’t let double teams hurt him like a Carl Davis would and is a guy who can truly eat up blocks. Still could do more in that regard with a rather paltry 16 defensive stops in the run game really unimpressive. Don’t expect much out of him as pass rusher, isn’t his game where 43 interior defenders had higher pass rusher games against the Power-5.

Where He Fits: Right on the nose. Its possible the team might use Jay Ratliff there but Goldman is your prototypical space eater who should make life easier for those behind him. He’s no Jordan Phillips mind.

71. Chicago Bears

Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon

The Bears aren’t exactly stacked at center with Will Montgomery currently pencilled in to start so Grasu has a real chance to start. Referred to by some as a poor man’s Jason Kelce, Grasu is an extremely fluid athlete but is a little undersized and it shows with how much help he got at Oregon. Real zone blocking center who had the highest run blocking grade of Power-5 centers in a scheme that was a little friendly in this regard.

106. Chicago Bears

Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State

Langford forced at least three missed tackles in six games while gaining an average of 3.1 yards after contact against Power 5 teams, ninth-most in this class. He graded negatively as a blocker and receiver.

142. Chicago Bears

Adrian Amos, S, Penn State

Amos held Power 5 QBs to a 19.2 passer rating on throws into his coverage (3.3 QB rating when covering the slot), the best mark in the class.

183. Chicago Bears

Tayo Fabuluje, OT, TCU

Fabuluje had the best Pass Blocking Efficiency (97.2) for eligible LTs from the Big-12.

Given the small number of viable QB prospects in this draft and given the gap after the top two QBs - both of whom were gone before the Bears' first pick - I wouldn't look at the draft as a barometer of their post-2015 Cutler plans. Besides, I imagine they'll stick with Cutler till 2016 just because of the cap ramifications.

Aaron Leming @AaronLemingNFL

#Bears have signed NT Terry Williams, who happens to be their 3rd UDFA signed from ECU. Total of 16 signed since last night.

Seattle has made a living off of UDFA's. Maybe we can get a couple of guys who can at least help on ST.

The only position I wish they would have addressed that they didn't is CB, but they clearly did their homework, used some advanced stats, and grabbed BPA's. Looks good preliminarily.

They are signing Jacoby Glenn as a UDFA, who had a draft-able grade by a lot of places. I think he has a shot.

I thought it was a very good draft for the Bears based on the 1-5

If it was up to me.

1) White- Same

2) Goldman-Same

3) Odighizuwa- DE UCLA, Grasu was a equal value pick and a position of need but Odighizuwa will likely be a better player and also a position of need.

4) TJ Clemmings- OT Pitt, Langford was another good value at a position of need so no complaints. Even with the foot injury and the law of polish, Clemmings would have been the better choice.

5) Amos- S Same (Bennett had more vale here but based on needs, Amos makes more sense).

6)Andy Gallik C Boston College.

As a DE or OLB?

Hes versatile to play the DE in the 4/3 as well as OLB in the 3/4, it depends on how much they go with a hybrid defense. I see effective in both of those roles. Worst case scenario he is a great special teams player.

FYI, Owa didn't play much OLB this past season following his hip surgery, despite playing in a 3-4 and being the right size for it. Don't know if that was a health thing or a coach's decision.

I thought he was a top 15 pick before that hip surgery.

I wish we had taken Tevin Coleman in the 3rd and hoped that Grasu would still be there at 106.

That said, I don't hate the Langford pick. Finished his career with 16 consecutive 100-yard games in Big Ten play. Seems like a pretty consistent player, and with NFL speed.

Yea I would have been very happy with Coleman. I guess I'll have to defer to the scouts on it for now, but I definitely like Grasu and don't think he would have lasted.

Yeah, I would have done pretty much the exact same thing, assuming White was the pick in the 1st. I would have drafted Beasley, but have no qualms about White being the pick. All those picks 2-5 were easily the best players on the board, without character concerns, IMO (which I think was clearly the focus). And I'm not a Clemmings fan at all. Had him with an early to mid 3rd grade. I probably would have picked Ifo in the 6th, but C is definitely a much bigger need.

Really hope Fangio turns Amos into something. Has some immense upside covering from the S position, especially in the slot.

A consensus job well done on picks 1-3 is enough to make me happy. And I'm glad they didn't waste a pick on a practice squad QB.

I'm happy with the first two picks. I really thought we would have addressed OLB or CB in this draft however we didn't have 10 picks and cant do it all in one draft. I would imagine that those two needs will be at the top for next year's draft. It looks like we have at least 3 starters from this draft.

I didn't watch much of Oregon last year but if Grassu can get stronger in the weight room and be able to hold his own without much help then that will bode very well for our run blocking. Didn't somebody here run a spreadsheet about the last 5 drafts or so and prove how much of a waste it is to draft a late round QB? Glad the Bears didn't waste a pick on a bum QB.

I imagine he'll be able to gain a bit of strength and weight now that he's out of Oregon's offense.

It's funny that the moment we drafted Long, I automatically assumed that the Bears would eventually draft Grasu. It just made sense to me. Couldn't miss him while watching Long. Best friends. And the Bears have needed to get a C of the future for years now (back to Olin b4 we knew Garza could somewhat successfully move) I thought he'd come out last year and be a high pick, but he did not. Then I had him pegged for the Bears at the beginning of this year, but they showed no interest in him from my knowledge, and he was completely off the radar for me.

In fact, I don't think the Bears met with or had a visit from any of the picks after White.

Grasu I believe was interviewed by the Bears at the Combine.
