But seriously though, is that a belief that people have outside the Bears/Bears fans, that Cutler gave up stopped caring and trying? That's idiotic...

Do you really need an answer to that question?

I guess I do since I'm asking it. I know people hate on Cutler irrationally, but its the first I heard of people believing that he stopped trying.

Ok then, yes, there is a belief outside of Chicagoland that Cutler gave up on Trestman/the Bears/the season/pick your poison.

The "don't care meme" went into overdrive.

Ironically enough, these are the same people who seriously thought Cutler wasn't wussied his way out of the NFC championship game.

Oh and apparently there are people who think Cutler really smokes cigarettes, and does so on the sidelines. Twitter is dumb as [expletive].

Hahaha...yeah I absolutely love that people believe that. Priceless.

I don't really read Bears blogs, but saw someone post a link to this, and it's a pretty measured take on Cutler. I don't necessarily agree with #10, but otherwise, there's not much to argue with.

Seems fairly devoid of information.

Bear fans, I just found out some great news that will benefit us all about me staying in Chicago. @RapSheet doesn't even have this news.

I bet he is becoming an assistant coach.

Makes sense considering the talk about Fox wanting to connect with alumni, and the somewhat iffy chance of Tillman making another team next year.

I stayed @CourtyardHotels the other day and they are giving me a discount. I will be in the city more often because of this

@BradBiggs: #Bears hire Dowell Loggains QBs and Glenn Pires LBs as position coaches.

Jay previously wanted Loggains as QB coach

(Locker, Hoyer, Manziel).

Well there's your problem.

This is a good point.

Good? No. Literally anyone can tell you? Yes.

Not making fun of CTCF. It's just not a hard thing to realize Dew. Come on bro!

It wasn't something I didn't realize prior to that, just something I hadn't pointed out and I was giving him credit for doing so. None of them showing much of any progression under Loggains is still a tiny bit worth pointing out, though, since both Locker and Manziel have some elements of NFL talent.

I'm willing to give a smidge of credit to Locker, I suppose. Manziel, on the other hand, is by all reports a complete and utter personal train wreck and it's hard to imagine what Loggains could have done there. The stories from last week make it sound like he's flirting with Ryan Leaf levels of idiocy.
