At first I was excited about Fox but now I'm wondering if he just doesn't have it in him to win the 'big one.'

I guess it doesn't matter as this team won't be in the running to win a SB for a couple of years at least. Fox will help to develop, teach and bring stability to a team that is in ruins.

He lost by 3 points to a vastly superior Patriots team that was in the middle of a 33-2 stretch of football. I don't know if you can exactly count that against him. So all you are really going off of is the shellacking in last year's Super Bowl.

With Jake freaking Delhomme as his QB no less.

That said, I still don't really want him. I'm not sure who I like now that Kubiak is out of the picture either though, so what do I know.

Clearly the Bears problem is they just can't win that big game.

Clearly the Bears problem is they just can't win any game.

Whenever I think of John Fox, I think about this stupidity:

1. John Fox produces one of the worst challenges of the year. It was jaw-droppingly bad. Fox threw out his challenge flag in the first quarter on a 23-yard catch-and-run by Justin Blackmon, thinking he had gone out of bounds after picking up a mere 16 yards.

Now, this was a third-and-5 on Jacksonville’s side of the field — Blackmon had clearly picked up the first down in either case. Fox was using one of his two challenges during this game to pick up seven yards with 52 minutes of challengeable football left. Seven entirely meaningless yards. Even worse, Fox lost the challenge. Given the impossibly low reward and the outcome, this was probably the worst challenge in the history of the NFL replay system.

Yeah, I brought this up earlier....Long later implied he was being sarcastic, said he was taking a twitter vacation, basically blamed everyone else for misunderstanding, changed his avatar to all black, and changed his name to something like "nothing to see here".

The talent on that side of the ball is all old and falling apart.

Jeffrey, Cutler and Bennett are not old. Forte still appears to have a year or two left in him.

Cutler is old and physically breaking down. Jeffrey and Bennett are OK, I guess.

Quit projecting your sack of rotting meat-ness on to others.

I will when Jay quits missing a [expletive] of throws.

Sure. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of Cutler. But he still isn't near the player he was two years ago. And no, his stats this year don't disprove that.

I don't know what stats you're talking about. Sure, he turns the ball over, but he's always thrown INTs and always will. his fumbles are mostly a function of how many times he's sacked. his average fumble per sack was exactly the same as Rodgers's this season, pretty much average.

RT @RapSheet: Right now, members of #Jets brass like GM Mike Maccagnan and Woody Johnson are out to dinner with Todd Bowles. Unclear what they are eating
