My wife got roped into being a Cub scout leader for a few years. So in turn, I got roped into helping out. I know way too much about that [expletive]. And yes boy scouts are just wrong. A lot of serial killers were boy scout leaders.

When I was a kid, I was in a weirdo Christian version of Boy Scouts called Royal Rangers. Until I was about 8, I think.

 

This may be the least surprising post I've ever read.

Boy scouts are a Christian organization......at least historically. And no, not surprised at all.

The only thing I really liked was the Pinewood Derby competitions. I could carve me a mean car.

 

I won every year but my dad was pretty handy and "helped" me quite a bit. Loaded them down with as much lead as we could to keep within the weight limit. I found those cars when we were moving last spring. They're pretty smooth.

I went with my mom to some sort of Boy Scout meet and greet thing when I was about 6. My mom and I got the hell out f there and agreed I'd never go back.

Yeah, it was all in using the weights right. Most cars just had them as the headlights and it didn't do enough.

Yeah, Mills is expected to start at RT and Ola at LG.

 

Pretty disappointing season for de la Puente. Hope they bring him back next season to replace Garza at center.

That would be interesting because I assume he was here on the recommendations of Kromer, who would presumably have a big say in the depth chart. And the staff did not seem to warm all that much to a guy many thought was the better option.

Mr. Briggs may have played his last NFL game. If he's out a few games and the Bears aren't in contention there is no reason to bring him back. He obviously won't be re-signed and I don't know that anyone will give him the money he wants. Urlacher situation all over again.

Reggie Bush is out for the Lions.

 

Big decisions left are if Ratliff for the Bears and Riley Reiff for the Lions will play.
