I hate that the selection committee will consider that injury when it comes to selecting ohio state.

There's a decent chance it won't matter anyway.

If Auburn does us all a favor. But in all fairness of the 4th spot comes down to TCU, Baylor, and OSU the injury should be a part of the selection committees decision.

I was thinking Wisconsin but yeah, Auburn could also.

So the Big 12 winner is in pretty much for sure (Baylor if they win, TCU if Baylor loses). Realistically, Bama is in as well (sorry Mizzou). TCU gets in for sure with either a Baylor loss or losses by two of Bama/Oregon/FSU/OSU. OSU gets in with a loss by one of Bama/Oregon/FSU (Big 12 doesn't matter since I'm assuming TCU beats Iowa State).

Of course, with FSU's penchant for playing tight games, the QB issues for Baylor and OSU and Oregon playing a team it already lost to this year, a two-loss team getting in isn't ridiculously unlikely anymore.

Ugh. Now I'm at the point where I don't think anyone is good enough. Would have love to have seen Ohio St in the playoff. But Wisconsin will probably win that game. Arizona has a good chance of beating Oregon again, but IDK. Bama will win. Florida St vs. Georgia Tech could be interesting. GT won't make the mistakes (INTs) that allow FSU to get back or stay in the game if they start slow for the 89th game in a row. If all those teams lose....what happens? Alabama, TCU, Arizona, Baylor?

Kansas should get Bo on the phone immediately

Absolutely. I'd fire Beckman today for him.

USC, a mediocre football team, is going to beat Notre Dame by 31. But, you know, injuries. Not Kelly's fault. Injuries.

I'm not the biggest Brian Kelly fan, but the injuries/suspensions have destroyed this team.

USC dressed fewer scholarship players then ND did today. And backups should be good enough to beat Northwestern and lose by less than 35 to USC. Even Ty Willingham didn't lose by 35 to USC, and those teams were breaking every NCAA rule in sight.

That's not how it works. When 15 of the 22 positions have a freshman or sophomore in the two-deep, "talent" is not enough to beat teams in power conferences.

Defenses really suck in the SEC.

Ole Miss finished the season #1 nationally in scoring defense (13.8 ppg).

But other than them, ya a lot of defenses are dreadful in the conference.

At least we know what the excuse will be this year. When Kelly goes 8-4 against an awful schedule next year, I wonder what it will be.

Lol at Nebraska thinking they are too good for 9 win seasons anymore.

Nebraska was pretty much ranked higher in every preseason poll than they ever finished. And the alumni and fans hated him. Probably the single biggest dick in college sports.

Yeah, I think this had more to do with him being a dick than anything. He's a good coach, just a psycho. You have to be a great coach to get away with being a psycho at most places.

As a Badger fan I wouldn't quite go that far. I'm definitely much more excited about the chances now but I'm also thinking the game now switches to the defenses, especially if the Buckeyes can shut down UW's run.

I've never seen Stave do what he did on Saturday. If he can repeat that I think the Badgers win but I'm not sure he can.

Minnesota punting down 10 with 3:30 left is confusing. I know they're deep in their own zone but still. One score I could see but not two.

Leidner throwing the ball is not an option

Pretty happy with the season overall. Jerry Kill definitely has this program on the rise
