Ole miss cub fan with all due respect to you and the Arkansas fan on here arkansas is officially the most overrated team in the history of college football.

Apparently sec west teams can't be disappointing, the teams that beat them need to be special. Arkansas is a mediocre team there are like 50 teams that are at least capable of beating then on any given day. Georgia slaughtered arkansas and subsequently lost two five loss teams South Carolina and Florida (assuming FSU beats them). Despite how bad they have looked I'd take South Carolina over Arkansas.

Arkansas is basically Tennessee. Why the hell do people think they are good? Because they almost beat a couple teams that aren't that great? Because they beat two teams likely to be unranked at season end?

This just makes me even more confident in Arkansas.

I wasn't going to take the bait on this, but what the hell.

I don't think anyone would say MS State and certainly not Bama "aren't that great".

There are 50 team capable of beating Arkansas on a given day? Doubtful, but considering the bad performances this year from the likes of UCLA, FSU, TCU etc that isn't that big an indictment. On that note, you say Arkansas was "slaughtered" by Georgia? They lost by 13 in a game where they played their only bad quarter of football all season. No one in the country has played at as consistent a high level against solid to great competetion than Arkansas. They haven't had a BC or Kansas brain fart all season.

They didn't just beat LSU and Ole Miss either. That completely dominated them to the tune of 47-0.

Have you even seen them this season? And who is over ranking them?

Arkansas is a better team than when they started this year. They're also still a team that's lost 5 games and only played 3 true road games. Someone has to be ranked at the end of the Top 25 so it's not a crime that they're approaching the rankings, but some of the superlatives are a bit much. They're a mediocre team that had to play a bunch of pretty good teams this year, but also lost more than their share and managed to get most of those teams at home. Fortunately for them their schedule isn't over and they still have two more games to cement themselves as the team who played all the good teams and wasn't good enough to beat them; or the team with the cursed schedule who got better and was a team to be reckoned with by year's end.

This is a very fair assessment and before the season, 7-8 wins with a bowl game is about where Arkansas fans had hoped they would finish this year.

I got suckered in by hyperbolic "most overrated team in history" nonsense. I should have known better.

All he's doing is enabling bizarre University of Old Mississippi and Arkansas chat that no one asked for.

Then let's talk about this past Saturday's USC-UCLA game then.

Sucks for you, because there will be much more Razorback conversation warranted next season, I am confident. Besides, I wasn't aware we were using up all the valuable discussion space on this board. 8-)

Georgia was up by 5 TDs at half. Arkansas garbage timed it to 13 points or whatever the final margin was but that game was a full beat down and you know this man. When did you know that game was over?

And most overrated team in history is just a little less hyperbolic than the best 5 loss team ever, which is a brand new championship invented to crown another sec west team wih glory.

And I said with all due respect and maybe I shouldn't because no respect was reciprocated.

All that win does is enable the fiction that Mora is a championship caliber coach.

Also sets up Seven Win Sark for another seven win season.

I grew up an Illini fan, but could never get into the school. My grades were too low in HS, so I went to cc. Got my grades up to the point I felt good enough to take a chance at a school that actually had Architecture as major. In then end, I wound up at MN, or as they call it in the TC (and have since the 40's), the "U". Minnesota gave me that shot, and I have become deeply grateful to them for it.

I went through the METRODOME years. The Glen Mason era. That was pretty cool. I remember listening to the Iowa game working on my house in MPLS on a radio with my daughter in my wifes belly thinking I REALLY NEED TO FINISH THIS [expletive] BUT JESUS JUST BEAT IOWA. We ended up beating Iowa, Wisconsin, and even Michigan. But never in the same season. Coming from Illinois and having friends and relatives at both SIU and NIU, I watch Jerry Kill build football PROGRAMS, not teams. I remember thinking when he was at NIU, god, if only we could get a guy like Jerry Kill. And our own campus stadium. And then we did, both.

I wont even get into his seizure issues, to me they are pebbles on the road.

Saturday will be a BIG day for me. Jerry Kill goes for the trifecta, Iowa, Michigan and *maybe* Wisconsin in one season. hasnt happened in 40 some years.

So TCU has forced at least 5 turnovers in 3 games this season. I really think they should be the 4th team in the playoff ahead of Baylor and Ohio State.

I think they have to honor head to head if Baylor beats KSU and ties them for the league title, but for the moment, I've had TCU in for several weeks now and I'm not sure why so many others don't.

I don't disagree with that at all. Don't think Baylor is a better team, but it is what it is. If Auburn can do what LSU couldn't finish I will be very happy. Or Ole Miss for that matter.

49-42 at the half. This is the most hilarious game I have ever seen, it's on FS1.
