And yes, Kreutz and Urlacher were ringleaders of the anti-Benson thing.

Someone should've asked Urlacher about that during the Incognito stuff.

If there's one thing Jerry Angelo knows, it's young OL talent.

"Gabe Carimi, Chris Williams and J'Marcus Webb, now those are a special talents!"

@BearReport: #Bears not practicing: Bennett, Fuller, McCray. Limited: Bostic, Briggs. Full practice: Conte.

Martellus has a hamstring injury but expects to practice tomorrow. Apparently Fuller played a bit on Sunday with his hand broken.

So do I assume the opposite of Angelo or think if even he can tell they are bad that they are bad.

It's the latter. I think Ola is acceptable as a swing OL and Mills would be acceptable as a backup but neither should be a starter.

Just assume he died two years ago and someone is impersonating him.

I'm fine with either as long as they are clearly the worst OL out there on any given day and they get help. But recently we've seen Slauson struggle (1st game back from injury), DLP struggle, Bushrod be a little iffy (again 1st game back). I still think Mills is going to get better. Probably only marginally at this point, but hopefully he can get to as close to averageish as possible.

i've always been under the impression that a d-lineman can't grab and then throw an o-lineman like that...am i crazy, or was that once a rule?

I don't recall such a rule

That throw was more or less a push, which you can get away with. You cannot grab and pulldown an offensive lineman.

D lineman cannot grab o lineman, but I think it has to do with stunts, ie the NT grabs the center and pulls him to the side and the MLB blitzs the gap. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

Yes, when you sacrifice yourself and pull the lineman to let another rusher get through, that will get called. When it's a 1one1 ass whooping that will not get called.

Yeah, I think you can grab them and hold them if it's clear you're not setting up another guy to rush the passer nor can you if the lineman is going out for a screen.

aye, thanks for the clarification...i knew there was something in the rule book along those lines.

anyway, wake is a fuckin' beast.

@AdamHoge: Bennett, Bostic, Briggs, Fuller, Mills were limited today. McCray, Allen and Chris Williams DNP. Allen not hurt. Williams sick. #Bears

For Fuller, it's the hip pointer and not the broken hand that would hold him back from playing.

@AdamHoge: Cutler said he canceled his radio show Monday because his son had a doctors appointment. “It was out of my hands."

Not quite the hospital so not good enough, right?

lol seriously a weak excuse, come on.

Titans supposedly have a lot of guys on the trading block. Most interesting to the Bears would probably be Jason McCourty at CB. I don't imagine he'd take more than a 3rd day pick, and he would be a solid veteran CB with Fuller iffy and depth mostly inexperienced.
