It's really been like this since everything went right in 2010. We sold our souls to the devil only to lose to Green Bay in the NFCG.

 

I remember not having a single player on the injury report before the playoff games and thinking that one day this was going to even out. Didn't think it would be 4 years of evening out.

Just toss it on the ever-growing pile of suck the 2014 Bears represent.

 

I'm not even that angry about this one. They didn't show up today. There wasn't any drama to produce disappointment. It was the Bears walking on the field and sucking, then losing. 7 minutes or so to start the 3rd quarter, nice drive. Beyond that? An empty hole.

I don't think it's an excuse. He's actually been diagnosed with BPD and receives treatment for it.

I said he doesn't use it as an excuse. He uses it to absolve himself. He showed no remorse in his awful, crazy press conference. Just hubris. Buy his self-authored redemption narrative if you want. I think he's a creep.

 

I'm with you on this one. Always have felt uncomfortable rooting for him - always felt like I was in the minority.

Also pretty weird that they only talked about Fuller's hip on the broadcast, nothing about his hand.

Marshall has BPD and these little tirades are consistent with that disorder. Odd duck for sure, but no reason to hate the man.

 

I personally feel for the guy. There's really no [expletive] reason he should still be without a playoff appearance.

it must. he talks a lot about his illness but as an advocate. And I realize he was abusive to his wife, but he sought help and has dealt with it the way everyone wants to demand people do. He lost it today after a shitty loss, I cant believe more players didnt.

Agreed. Bennett's comments are spot on. The fans don't owe the players anything and vice versa. Bears tickets are like $300 a seat, you buy them hoping to be entertained and when your team shits the bed you are upset.

Also related to Allen apparently wasn't in during several stretches of the 2nd half. I guess they asked him about it and he said to ask Tucker.
