Seems like the NHL's concussion protocol is pretty lacking.

He was clearly wobbly.

I think he was stunned more than anything else. He recovered pretty quickly to make a couple solid saves right after it hit him.

@ChrisKuc: Patrick Kane now has 101 career playoff points in 101 games. That is ... good. #Blackhawks

We beat their asses tonight, plain and simple.

Agreed, that was a domination. Very impressive. Things tend to change quickly when the venue changes. Win 1 of 2 in Minny and we are sitting pretty.

Just have to go 2-3 against a team they are 10-4 in the playoffs against the last three seasons.

Thinking about it from the other side is even more daunting. Minnesota has to go 4-1 against a team they are 4-10 against in the playoffs the last three seasons.

They pretty much did what they wanted the last period-and-a-half last night. I'm guessing the Wild will be looking to stop us at their blue line on Tuesday night. We were walking into their zone with ease. They need to force more chip and chase.

I did not agree to this.

he was flopping around for a good bit after the shot.

Yeah, and it looked like he took the puck in the chin.

Looking real good the last few shifts. Keep the pressure on.

Love Vermette tonight.

Gotta ask about 44 though, if he really can't play would it hurt to sub in who, Rundblad? What can it hurt?

Yeah he needs to go to the press box. I would rather have Cominsky, at least he has speed and sucks, 44 sucks and has no speed.

Biggest difference is Yeo will be able to shut down the Toews line with last change up there. Hoping Hawks can steal one up there and end it Saturday. Ducks look to roll Calgary, so getting this done before 6 games would be nice.

I don't agree that 44 sucks. Q always goes to a 5 man D rotation in the playoffs. There's nothing wrong with 44 being that 6th guy that spots in for like 10 minutes. Cumiskey is a 28 year old rookie. 44's lack of speed is only a problem if he strays out of position. He has enough experience to avoid that. I have no problem with how he's being used. Keep in mind that 44 is playing November hockey compared to everyone else.

Yes, momentum can shift in a hurry in the playoffs when the venue changes. If we can weather the storm in game 3, their will might be broken. They are still a very good team though, better than last year's team. Last year they went down 0-2 and then won both games in Minnesota before the Hawks sqeaked out 2 close Ws to close them out.

Regardless, they have won a road game in 16 of the 17 series they've played under Q (only one they didn't was 09 WCF against Detroit), so I'm willing to bet we win one of the 2 games, if not game 6 to close it out.
