I would have figured Kelly would have taken the good coaches from CMU when he left for cincy.

 

I would assume that he did. When Butch Jones was hired at CMU, my understanding is that he put together a staff from outside the university into one unit at CMU. I don't know that he used any coaches who ever coached under Brian Kelly.

 

Those coaches then followed Butch to Cincy and then, most of them followed him again to Tennessee.
