I just find it odd that Kansas City is on the list as they waived him earlier this year. Hopefully we can get a useful prospect.

Agreed. Also, weren't the Reds sellers as of earlier today? I know Phillips has been hurt but it seems odd that they would be selling off their parts while picking up a super-utility guy.

This would be a good type of deal to add to the upper levels catching depth, possibly give an in-house option for a backup next year so we aren't left with nothing after Baker leaves to be a setup man.

From that standpoint it is odd, but the holes they have to fill based on poor performance/injury have consistently been 2B/3B/RF. I thought it was more odd when they waived him and gave a roster spot to Danny Valencia.

Hank Schulman reiterated price is VERY HIGH on Bonifacio. Which is great.

I don't remember the circumstances exactly. But KC had just exercised his option, but then signed a FA a few days later and went over their budget, hence, they waived Emilio.

So you're saying we lost the trade if we don't get like a top 25 overall prospect for Bonny, right?

Lindor or bust. Just to have them all.

I'll be unhappy with anyone other than Buxton. I don't care that the Twins don't need any MLB players right now.

I wasn't even thinking quite that high. Mejia or Stratton from the Guants.

Levine saying Bonifacio's agent was called earlier today and informed that he wouldn't be in the lineup tonight because of a fluid trade situation.
