FYI - the Northwoods League actually started in 1994 so it has been around for quite some time. I remember watching Scherzer pitch in the league and thinking that he looks MUCH better than the other pitchers.

I believe that Guerra hurt his calf muscle in his first start and he did not do much after that. Even when the Brewers were begging for starters at the end of the year, Guerra did not start.

I was also at the Beloit game Sunday (my first low A game in over 30 years). Certainly not much to talk about from an offensive standpoint. Wilson ran down a couple of nice balls in center. I wish they had a radar gun so we could have seen some pitch speeds.

And yet I find it interesting that Kellogg is a couple of months older than Almora. Almora has played in the majors and Kellogg has not played above low A ball yet.
