Tennessee will suck. Again.

KU might win 4 games if we're lucky.

I'm pulling for 2 Purdue wins. I know it's a little greedy hoping to double our win total.

I'm excited, the Illini could win some games this year. Interested to see Lunt in Cubit's system, Ferguson is a special talent. I have no idea what to expect from the defense, though.

I'm "SORT OF" excited, sort of. Bears being good will take most of my attention though.

Going to the UI/Iowa game in Champaign and god please if nothing else just win that game cause my dog mom/very long term girlfriend is a Hawkeye.

Oh and also I'm giving up my Bears/Vikings tix that Sunday to go so please, really, just win 1 time.

I'm excited.

I probably should temper that excitement.

I think Mizzou will win 8, unless Mauk lives up to the hype and then they could win the East again. I'm expecting 8.

I'm an optimist and they avoid Bama/LSU/Auburn, so I'm banking on 9 wins. Probably not enough to take the East unless they happen to win @SC or havoc breaks loose, but that's enough for me to dream on.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect. After 25+ years of having the same coach, I'm now on my 3rd coach in 3 seasons. I can't say I envy those of you who have had high coach turnover. It completely blows up your expectations

Iowa has a solid team combined with a super weak Big Ten schedule.

I feel like there are like 9 teams that don't have to play Michigan, Michigan St, or Ohio State. Iowa should be 9-1 or 10-0 going into Wisconsin and Nebraska in Iowa City.

The Hogs will hopefully be not as terrible this year, perhaps getting at least one conference win.

I could see 5-6 wins for Tennessee this year. USU/Ark St/UTC are likely wins and I don't see a win in the OU/UGA/Bama/SC/Mizz stretch.

The key is going to be the group of UF/Ole Miss/UK/Vandy. We need to, and I think can, win three of those. Butch cost us the win against Florida last year by making a needless QB change prior to it, so I really want that game this year. UK and Vandy should both be wins, but they should have been last year too and we lost to Vandy. Ole Miss is going to be tough, but I'm not sure they're as good this year as last year (OMC can correct me if I'm wrong).

IMO. Ole Miss will be better this season and maybe a dark horse to win the West. Bama and LSU are reloading this year.

FWIW...

WEST:

Auburn

Miss

Bama

LSU

aTm

State

Ark

EAST:

SC

GA

Mizzou

Tenn

FLA

Vandy

KY

Man, sounds like I'm underselling Ole Miss by a alot. I knew they had several guys bolt for the NFL, but wasn't sure what they had behind them. So long as Les Miles is at LSU, I won't be surprised if they drop off, but at the same time, so long as Saban is in Alabama, I won't be surprised if they exceed expectations.

The east is going to be pathetically bad this year. The only team that might be nationally relevant is South Carolina. I could also see the bottom four teams being under .500 too.

Ole Miss finally has the SEC caliber defense to match a solid offense, especially on the D-line. Keep in mind that LSU and Bama are starting new QBs this year, and reports are that the Tide QB has looked really bad so far. The wild card here is Auburn. I still am not sold on their QB, and even a fans of theirs would admit that they were probably the luckiest team in the country last year. Defenses will adjust to Gus' scheme at some point. The homer in me says that Arkansas showed a ton of improvement over last season (hard not to) and the team will be that much better adjusting to Beliema's complete change in style and scheme.

South Carolina may be the class of the whole conference this year.
