He hits the best pitchers' best pitches? Wtf are they even talking about now?

 

i didn't find that comment to be particularly offensive

Mostly because it was designed to be verbally fellating and wasn't backed by any data, whatsoever.

I'd almost, ALMOST, rather watch an Edwin Jackson start than this.

TIL Scherzer broke into the bigs as a closer.

 

Fun fact, in his career Scherzer has pitched in the 9th inning once as a reliever, in a game that he entered in the 7th inning.

I'm looking forward to Buck's subtle digs at each of them.

There's no way he doesn't mention Castro's "habitual laziness/lack of concentration" either in his first AB or when he comes in as a defensive sub.
