Am I wrong to think the Ted Williams MVP award should be his frozen head passed around from year to year like the Stanley Cup? That is how to make the game REALLY count!

 

Who cares about Ted Williams, lets start planning to freeze Jeter's head.

Ha, ha, Joe - Mike Trout is due for a lot of regression if he is going to wind up being the next Derek Jeter.

Jeter is "passing the torch." You know, kind of like how Isaiah Thomas passed the torch to Michael Jordan.

Assuming they stay on their rough pace the rest of the year, after this year Trout will have already complied +/- 40% of the fWAR Jeter did in his WHOLE CAREER. 31 vs 75
