I keep re-evaluating the probability that this team will win a world series in my lifetime. Definitely in the long shot category now.

Don't think you'll make it to 2016?

That's a tad bold on a few levels.

15 WAR pace, then. Nice.

To be totally candid..... I'm more worried about the team than I am about myself.

I'm glad you're well, you were starting to scare me.

This team is going to be beasting relatively soon. And, no, that doesn't depend on every prospect panning out.

Someone tell me there's hope Coghlan can be some kind of useful player. TELLLLLL MEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

He's the deluxe version of what Randall Simon meant to the 2003 Cubs. Enough left handed bat to be useful, but zero or negative defensive value pretty much everywhere that confines him to 'platoon at best on a strong team' status.

Was his nosedive into oblivion due to injury or standard badness?

Damn it. Should be 10-8. Would be 10-9 if Baker had been just a little less quick to that first pitch.

Coghlan had to have knee surgery after he threw a pie in a guys face after a game back in 2010 and missed a lot of the year. No joke.

Although he was already kinda sucking at that point.
