Guyyyyys. I can't believe you guys hate a really good Cardinal player....wtf guys....

I hate the white sox way more than the cardinals

so all I've gathered so far is that you guys hate molina more than other good players because 1) he has neck tattoos 2) he's a cardinal

got it

dont you think thats kind of meatball?

He gets the Jeter treatment from everyone.

Yup. The Cardinal thing isn't even all that bothersome; there's plenty of players I like on teams I hate. With Molina it's the neck tattoos, that he's a whiny douche and, most of all, that he's talked about in hushed tones (especially in national broadcasts) like he's some kind of insanely good, legendary player.

He's a self-righteous douchebag, which has been pointed out repeatedly as well.

The Cardinal fans make me hate Molina. He gets treated like he's god's gift to baseball. When Yadier retires, the entire city of St. Louis is going to be flooded with the tears of grown men.

Pretty sure if you set up a poll for Cardinals fans as to whether Pujols or Molina was a more valuable Cardinal, Molina would actually win with Eckstein coming in 2nd as a write-in and So Taguchi just barely being edged out by Pujols for 3rd. Edited by Sammy Sofa

"Why aren't the other teams giving him presents!?!?!?"

I don't live in Chicago, but the only people I meet that like that WS are either hipsters or the type of people who wear jean shorts to swim. There's only one WS fan I've ever met that I didn't actively dislike, and he was some old fat guy.

So anyway, I probably hate the WS more.

I definitely hate the WS more. The Cardinals are like a cult almost, annoying, but they do know their stuff. They're sometimes even able to overcome the rivalry to just talk baseball with you since theres shared heritage between them and us. White Sox fans on the other hand - they're just bad all around. Impossible to have a conversation with. Little brother syndrome, unwashed, drunk on cheap beer, smelly, violent, etc etc. Also Hawk Harrelson.

I hate the division rival a lot more than I hate the team who has nothing to do with the success of the Chicago Cubs.

Right...I mean, I get tired of hearing about the White Sox on talk radio and stuff too, but it's my own damn fault for listening to that garbage. Nationally they're more or less ignored. It's really not that difficult to forget that the White Sox exist.

The Cardinals win the division that the Cubs play in almost every freaking year. I'm 37 years old and they've been to the World Series more times in my lifetime than the Cubs have been to the playoffs. [expletive] them.

Jeff Samardzjia will wear generic "National League" jersey at All-Star Game, sit with the NL team, an MLB official tells me. #Athletics

WTF? I understand him not being allowed to pitch, but why not just have him suit up in A's garb and sit with his teammates?

Jesus just make him an injury replacement the next time an AL pitcher goes down. I'm pretty sure that's what they did with Carlos Beltran in 2004.

i really like the idea of a pitcher in samardzija's spot getting so into the idea that IT COJNTS that he talks his way into the game and intentionally gives up a million runs
