I know it's a stupid notion and one start should have zero effect on his trade value, but giving the other GMs anything to point at is a bad idea.

It's nice that Schlitter got his first big league hit but it would be better if the Cubs didn't have a 50-man pitching staff so they could have a PH when Valbuena is hurt.

It's unnerving how often there's really not a good answer to "If the Cubs want to win baseball games, why are they doing X?"
