Ideal scenarios for me would be Melo to Bulls, LeBron to Cavs, Bosh to Houston, and Wade alone with McBob, (LeBron's hand-picked) Napier, and Granger in Miami.

At this point I want the bulls to secure a second tier option. After melo and Lebron stay put or whatever they do Minnesota will be in great shape with the only legit star dangling out there. I imagine the price tag will be too steep for garpax.

I'm coming around on Stephenson. He may not be the quality scorer we need but he is young with upside and he appears to no te commanding payment for tht upside, unlike Heyward or parsons or Bradley.

I think our team is kinda perfect to harness stephensons attitude and given howich he's improved since his freshman year, his size and physical attributes tell me that he could develope a game that that can get to the line more than he does. Just [expletive] sign him.

@WojYahooNBA 15 secs

Spurs staying diligent on free agent Pau Gasol, but Bulls and Thunder -- with Lakers lurking -- lead the way, sources tell Yahoo.

How can 3 teams lead the way on signing a guy. Only one team can be leading the way. These nba writers are either absolutely clueless or their employers are making them report when they have nothing to report.

Really? Criticizing some of the writers is understandable. But Woj?

This is the era of Twitter journalism. It doesn't matter if you're right, only if you're first

It takes like 1.5 seconds of reading comprehension to get his meaning, that the Spurs are interested but are not close to signing Gasol because other teams are ahead of them.

Sacramento is interested in acquiring Lebron James but the other 31 teams are in the lead to sign lebron. I know what hes saying, im saying what he is saying is worthless information.

And i dont know the difference between Woj and the rest of them. I dont follow any of these guys specifically to have any clue whether one is less terrible than the others.

BURNING HOT TAKE ALERT

Woj is about as reliable a reporter as there is with regards to access to information and breaking news. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any sports writer that is better at that type of reporting than him.

And there is a completely realistic scenario that could take place that puts SA in the lead and most attractive place to him. The tweet makes sense. Carmelo resigns in NY, the Bulls roll with the current roster+Mirotic/rookies, Pau realizes he doesn't want to play for Scottie [expletive] Brooks and has no faith he can game plan effectively to win a title and/or Thunder stay cheap and don't amnesty Perkins or add other FA, and then he realizes he's not playing with broken down Nash + potentially broken down Kobe and his contract with no chance at a title the next 2 years. All of the sudden the Spurs are pretty attractive and likely in the lead.

Broussard on SC - "Bulls would be interested in Gasol, if Melo fell through, in a sign and trade with Boozer."

Yes, I'm sure the Bulls would be interested in that deal.

@suntimes_hoops There are stories out there that are pushing the idea that Carmelo Anthony was somewhat put-off by Rose's low-key attitude last Tuesday.

@suntimes_hoops .. just spoke to a source who said they are completely false. "The two had a great conversation," the source said. Later at dinner...

@suntimes_hoops .. Noah and Taj even spoke to Anthony about how humble Rose is and that he just wants to win. Anthony seemed to get it.

Pretty sure Kevin Love isn't even his buddy and is instead just the one guy that tolerates the weird kid nobody wants to be around because he feels bad for him.
