Yeah I noticed that too. I guess I just figured that playing on home soil would give them a boost.

I don't think they should have played them on the same line. Datsyuk should have played with Ovechkin and Malkin should have centered the 2nd line. That does not change that they did not have very good defensemen and their 3rd/4th lines were consistently outplayed

Still crazy that Kane and Toews are scoreless in the tournament so far, especially in the case of Kane because USA has been scoring in bunches.

You'd think something would get thru at some point. If Latvia scores the next goal, it would be a miracle considering they can't even get a SOG.
