ND released it's 2014-2016 schedules. Not a single BigX game in 2015.

I'm not a huge SEC guy but it's very very difficult for an SEC team to make a BCS bowl. Spurrier hasn't gotten one at USC and he's had a couple really good years. Last years A&M team makes a BCS bowl out of any other conference

 

Spurrier's best team at USC lost to a lowly ACC team in their bowl game. They weren't THAT good.

 

Spurrier's best team at South Carolina was one of the teams from these past three years (2011 - this season) and certainly not the 2010 team in Lattimore's freshman year that went 9-5.

First time in 99 years (back when Fielding Yost was leading the boycott).

 

The 2015 schedule looks a little light (Temple, UMass and Wake in the same year...oy), but overall some pretty good work. Swarbrick said in the press conference that getting SEC teams on the schedule beyond 2016 will be a priority, and that's part of the reason for the reduction in B1G games. I'm all for that.

Thank goodness Fresno State didn't get gifted a BCS bowl game. Art Briles might have hung 100 on the Bulldogs.

Lewan runs 6-7, 315 lbs, and looks every bit the part of a big jock douchebag. Him randomly punching a guy in the face is much more believable than a small group of rival fans starting a fight with him at a popular UM bar.

Teddy Bridgewater was amazing last night. That drive before half-time was perfect throw after perfect throw. Marcus Smith was just as dominant on defense, put himself in the first round conversation if he comes out.

No one cares about 90% of these bowls nowadays. Way too many.

Bowl season should be better starting next year with the retooled tie-ins and the increased flexibility to provide good matchups.

I'm hearing that Saban's extension still doesn't take him out of Texas possibilities.

 

I find that hard to believe....but I've been told to wait until after the bowls.
