Jordany Valdespin was non-tendered, he might make a interesting platoon 2B option. He's a middle infielder by trade but was forced into a super utility role with the Mets, where he was bad defensively in the OF but a touch above average in limited time at 2B. He hit well for a 2B in 2012 and from a superficial glance, he might have been BABIP unlucky in 2013. He may only end up being a half step better than Watkins(if that), but he seems like he could be of interest given the Cubs' needs.

Def would have some interest in Axford. He def needs some work on his command/control of his breaking stuff. But still has elite velo on his FB. Bosio I think was with the Brewers/his coach when he was good.

Proving once again that I don't understand MLB roster rules, Lim was non-tendered. I would have thought that would have to be a non-renewal or something?

Pretty sure he had a 2.5 mill option we needed to pick up.

I mentioned this in the bullpen thread, but I have a vague recollection that he had some contract weirdness for his 2nd year, so I'm not surprised that he was arb eligible. I can't find the exact details but there's some hint that he's owed millions this year as part of the MLB portion of his deal because he got called up last year, so no shock that he's non-tendered if that's the case.

Not sure we ever actually saw his true deal, but think he had chance at making up to 5.5 mill, with the second year containing most of it.

Ryan Webb non tendered by the Marlins? He would have made less than 2 mill in arb, is 28, and put up a 2.91 ERA last year in 80+ innings. Only 6.05k/9, but a 3.60 FIP and a 3.79 xFIP and a 56.3% ground ball rate. (57.3 career) God they're awful.
