That was a stupid decision. And then you made the call to hand off to Bush.

Yep on both. Get it to one score for sure. OR AT LEAST THROW IT TO ONE OF YOUR GIANT RECEIVERS. [expletive] MORON.

I've actually agreed with every 4th down decision Trestman has had this year until that one. IMO you kick to make it a 1 score game there.

Edit: But I think seeing the terrible play calls Trestman has made on 4th and short this year influenced my hate for going for it there. The Bears have failed on similar runs multiple times this year and I was afraid he was going to do it again, and he did.

I don't mind going for it, but pick literally anyone except Bush.

McCown is not very good at anything down there.

Really miss Jay in those spots.

Loved going for it. Hate doing that.

You have to make it a one score game.

Or you don't.

Really? It seems like they've been successful on 4th down attempts more often than not..

No you're right. You can choose to trust your stout defense that will no doubt get you the ball right back.

I'm trying to think....im sure this is selective memory but I remember 5 plays where the Bears were either 4th and less than 2 yards or going or a 2 point conversion. The Bears failed 4 of those 5 times, and the one time it worked Forte had to break 2 tackles to get the 1st.
