I'm finding it remarkably easy to root for the Red Sox here.

 

yeah, when im like "[expletive] the red sox" i realize that if they win this series, that will be two times in less than a decade they saved us from a st louis world title

Part of me loves that the Cardinals are getting hated nationally for the same [expletive] that has annoyed the [expletive] out of me for over a decade, but part of me also hates that the Cardinals are essentially being validated as a successful organization by being hated by people outside of the midwest.
