Have we talked about Pete Carroll being a 9/11 truther yet?

 

It's been brought up before, I believe last year.

 

A quick search indicates I brought it up last time. Oh well, just a nice reminder that he's a grade A douche.

Seattle is favored by somewhere between 16.5 and 17.5 from what I'm seeing.

 

It'll probably be in the 20s by Friday.

Lol, could easily see it getting to 23-24. This will be one of the larger lines I can ever remember. I think GB and NE both had some lines open in the high teens over the last 2-3 years but I can't remember any reaching the 20's.

 

As I mentioned on the previous page, JAC@DEN in week 6. I don't see how that doesn't open in the low/mid 20's if both those two teams stay on this relative course and Denver, specifically, doesn't have injuries to anyone significant.

Side note: there is this really decent local Pittsburgh band called No Bad JuJu. The lead singer is absolutely smoking. The husband DJ'd my wedding.

The Bears one is ok...the inclusion of the C is a nice touch, but I don't love it like I love some others...

 

I like the 49'ers, Packers and the Pats, the Steelers is the worst.

Raiders and 49ers are awesome. Saints, Jags and Panthers look the same.

I think GBs is as bad as PIT.

Agreed, it looks like a crappy high school or 1AA college logo.

I think that's why I like it is b/c of how simple it is.

 

Personally, I dislike most of those compared to how they are now. Yet, I like most of the new college unis.

I actually don't think it is that simply. It has the entire state of Wisconsin map, a star over the city of Green Bay, the words Green Bay, and Packers, and an unnecessarily interlinking GB steal beam design. There's too much going on there.

My only question is why is there a football player in the Bills logo? I think I would like that logo more if the player wasn't there. I'm not sure how else you could design the Packers or Steelers. They're the hardest one to design IMO.

 

 

As far as what I like the most... Pats/Raiders/49ers with Redskins/Bucs to round out the top 5. Giants is bad. Chiefs is meh/bad. For some reason I like the Bengals, but not the Chargers. I think Lions needs to have a more aggressive look.

The Buffalo is lead blocking for a guy named Bill.

 

I don't get why a lot of the birds and the Bear have random individual pieces of fur or feathers just sticking out to break up otherwise smooth lines. The Bronco also has a Lion's mane and the Bengal looks like a sperm.

There was/is a rule in the NFL against excessive crowd noise, although they have understandably stopped enforcing it.

 

In other news, the Colts have lost 3 offensive starters for the season in the last week after they announced Dwayne Allen is done. Hopefully this stops soon or it could get ugly in Indy.

Undercover police officers were among the 67,000 people at CenturyLink Field for Sunday night's NFC West showdown between San Francisco and Seattle and some of them were decked out in 49ers gear in an effort to better monitor fan misconduct.

 

At least one cop had his cover blown thanks to this narc in a Seahawks jersey.

The Giants and Packers look like hot messes. The woven lettering just doesn't work well. The 49ers logo looks promising, but it's almost as though the team name was an afterthought.
