3 Daytona pitchers combined to no-hit Dunedin, for the second time this year.

Pitchers included Kyler Burke.

Something I noticed yesterday......Jefferson Mejia was listed as being 6'7, 220 when signed in July. He's now listed at 6'0,175 on Milb. At this rate he'll be about a foot tall by the time he's ready for the majors. Seriously though, which is he?

I'd trust actual scouting reports over MiLB.com, which just created his profile from the USA.

ETA: Saw Badler's tweet saying he actually saw Mejia at 6'7".

dolis, sweeney and valbuena played well for the azl cubs in their rehab assignment.

mark malave is having a reasonable year for an 18 year old at arizona, although he definitely needs to get stronger. 2-3 with a walk and 2 doubles tonight, but just .252/.366/.297/.663 coming into tonight's game. he got a big-ass bonus and didn't hit much last year in the DSL, so at least his performance this year is a step forward.

rosscup wasn't as good as usual, although he was hurt by pathetic defense. chang-yong lim pitched a perfect inning and struck out two.

I'm expecting Lim will get September to show us he's a guy we can pencil into our 2014 pen. I guess with Rivero heading to the AFL, his slight shot at doing the same moves back til Spring Training.
