Listen to music you weirdos. The Interwebs will fill you in on the inane crap the radio nerds ramble on about.

Morning drive has very little music and mostly Morning Zoo shows. It's not a long enough commute to bother plugging in the phone for

the drive from my garage to the outside of my garage is long enough to warrant plugging in my phone to listen to something other than terrestrial radio, you silly nonsense of a man

this is only tangentially related, but i finally have bluetooth in my car and i also got a magnetic phone mount and now i am the laziest person alive. i basically throw my phone at the holder and it sticks and whatever music/podcast i've been listening to clicks on as soon as i start the car. it is glorious.

the bluetooth is to be expected, but people legit gasp when they see the magnetic phone mount in action. highly recommended.

I haven't listened to the radio in my car outside of Cubs games basically ever.

Google Play music did, however, remove the functionality of picking up right where it left off on the most recent update, which is annoying.

music gets old after a while. i like being plugged in and i like hearing the guests and news as it happens while i'm on my drive. i actually like most of the score guys, aside from mully and hanley (which i still hate-listen to when stuff is going on). with north and murphy gone, they're the only huge meatballs left. bernstein is (mostly) the anti meatball (boers is kinda just there) and spiegel and goff is a smarter show too as far as those things go.

i listen to music plenty in the car...just not really in the mood for it (usually) on my work commute.

i'd listen to music every single time over some terrible national ESPN radio crap though. i'd listen to almost anything local on ESPN1000 over mully and hanley but instead they have stupid [expletive] mike and mike.

Yeah, I thought David was the only weirdo here who willingly subjected himself to sports radio on anything resembling a regular basis.

I've only stopped listening to it in the last 6 months or so. I feel better for it.

I've gotten sick of live sports talk radio so what I've been doing lately is downloading the Score Interviews podcasts, so for example, they had Starlin's interview, the other day, an interview with Jed, an interview with Tom Ricketts, etc. Better to pick and choose what you want to listen to.

Obviously there are some great podcasts out there these days as well. Definitely plenty of options out there if you arent in the mood to listen to music.

i bet you like being plugged in, you pervert

gotta love the idea that music gets old and the solution to that is the receptive nonsense of sports talk radio.

I was so happy when Colin Cowherd got canned from ESPN, but somehow I think the Dan Lebetard show is even worse

what in the world

Posted
Colin Cowherd may literally be the worst person in the world.

He's awful. His show is just one hot take after another, and they are all wrong. All of them.

Jim Rome is just as bad, though. Can they be tied for worst person on earth?

Stephen A Smith has to be in this conversation too. And oh yeah Michael Wilbon is horrible. Skip Bayless is insufferable.

Why do so many sports "journalists" suck so hard?

Everyone just needs to stop watching/listening to this absolute garbage. Which, of course, they never will.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but there's going to be a 30 for 30 on the 85 Bears next month.
