The Dodgers are probably my most hated team in the NL not in the Central Division. As a kid I used to like the late 80s A's and was pissed the Dodgers beat them in 88, they have always been a problem to the Cubs (08 nlds and throughout the 80s) and their recent free spending ways has been annoying. About the only time I liked them was the 09 nlds victory over the cards.

89 put the Giants in that category for me and Cub killer Pat Burrell/my in-laws put the Phillies there for me more recently.

No one will ever surpass the Marlins as far as non-NL central teams.

i have a hard time hating the marlins' actual players and caring whether they win 50 or 70 games. the organization, on the other hand, is pathetic. loria and samson should be shot into the sun.

Rank of NL teams in terms of most hated to least

1. Cardinals

2. Brewers

3. Marlins (03 and Loria)

4. Diamondbacks (07 and their stupid uniforms)

5. Dodgers (hate them for 08, mannywood and their stupid spending abilities canceling out Colletti)

6. Reds (rising since they're actually good now)

*Where the Astros would have gone*

7. Mets (for nostalgia stake, Victor Diaz and not being able to beat the Cardinals in 06)

8. Giants (89 and the Bonds era, and their 2 out of nowhere world series winners)

9. Phillies (hate them for winning the world series the year we had the best record in the NL)

10. Padres (too young for 84, but will still hate them and their depressed hitting ballpark)

11. Braves (98 and getting to enjoy Maddux's prime)

12. Rockies (Meh)

13. Pirates (will probably hate them more in a couple of years)

14. Nationals (who can hate the old expos?)

I don't hate any other franchise besides STL and to a much lesser extent the Marlins. Individual players or managers (Dusty) might annoy me on other teams but not really enough for it to carry over to the whole team.

I just can't bring myself to hate the Marlins; yeah, 2003 sucked, but that team was immediately blown up. Sure, I hate their scumbag owner, but it's not like the Cubs had a chance to face the team that crushed their dreams in 2003 on any kind of a regular basis. Not that that makes sense with how I still hate the Mets despite them not being a "direct" rival for almost 20 years now, but whatever; fandom is stupid.

Aside from putting the Brewers lower and the Rockies at the bottom (how could I hate the team that gives the Cubs their most amazing wins and never beats them in the playoffs?), that seems about right

Jim Belushi... Really?

This has got to stop.

Of all the people to hate on for the stretches, at least he's an actual Cubs fan. A tool, but a Cubs fan.

I completely forgot Sanchez was on the roster.

I don't even care about the stretch. I just hate that Belushi is continuously shoved down our throats as "Mr. Chicago Sports Fan".
