Did the Celtics use a big truck?

I hope so. I don't get this move for Stevens. If he wanted just a money grab he should have been Raisin's new favorite coach.

You don't get why someone would want to jump from Butler to one of the most storied franchises in the NBA?

Not when that team is trying to lose to get Wiggins. Plus I was thinking he should have jumped for UCLA. Jumping from UCLA to the Celtics isn't quite as big a jump.

If anything it's better because no one expects for him to win right away.

I guess that's true. As more of a college basketball fan I just don't like this. I think he was going to be a star and now I am afraid he will be a recycled NBA coach.

No way, man.

The NBA is the NBA and the Celtics are the Celtics. No college comes close to that.

Coach K jumped at that Laker job, twice. Or are the Lakers not on the level of the Celtics? And UCLA is better historically than Duke.

Lol, illiniguy.

Anyway, peace out, Rajon.

So it's not at all a comparable situation? Even better in 1990 before he started winning titles at Duke Coach K was offered the Celtics job and turned it down. Lol indeed.

Good move for Stephens. It was always going to be interesting to see what job he would leave Butler for.

He totally could have had the Illinois job. They can win right away at least. Wait.

Lol, I always thought he'd get the Indiana job at some point. Maybe he still will.

What on earth does K's ambition have to do with Brad Stevens' ambition? One took the job, one didn't. They have nothing to do with each other.

so what? one guy was very happy in his situation and stayed at his university. the other decided to go for a new challenge and go to the nba. you're acting like one was right and one was wrong.

Sorry, not meaning to act like he's wrong. That's not my intent. I just don't understand the move, I thought he was really happy at Butler.

Korver staying in ATL for 4 years/$24Mil.

Damn nice payday Kyle. Would have loved to have lured him back to the Bulls but not at anywhere near that amount. 2/6 for Dunleavy is much more preferable.

That's crazy money for a guy with only one skill

But he's the best in the league with that skill. I think he's worth the money, maybe not 4 years though.

Iggy to the Warriors.

Bogut/Barnes for Howard still in play??

Curry, Thompson, Iggy, Lee, Howard would be nasty.

Apparently Igoudala is tight with Howard.
