This seems appropriate for a general NBA offseason thread.

@WojYahooNBA Y! Sources: Denver's Andre Iguodala has decided to opt-out of final year of contract and will enter free agency

If the trade goes down apparently Blake+Bledsoe are going to the Lakers for Dwight on a S&T.

I don't understand how all of these moves make the Clippers any better.

Either do I, I think at best it's a marginal net gain and most of the value is going from Vinny to Doc (who I don't think is as good of a coach as the media portrays but he's certainly a upgrade from Vinny) not the actual player exchanges.

Isn't this mostly about getting Paul to stay?

Yes, but they won't be any better than last year with this team and even more restricted financially with Dwight and Paul on max deals.

People don't think Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett are better than Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan?

How long does KG have left? I'm also not high at all on Dwight Howard anymore.

KG got 2 years left on his contract. I expect him to finish out that contract and probably retire after that. I could see him play 1 more year if he REALLY wants to win that 2nd title. I'm not high on Howard either, but he's still a really good player.

I moved those here to keep a little segmentation from the Bulls news(also because I don't want to be that guy droning on about the Cavs in a Bulls thread).

Hopefully Ford's report has some legs for the other two teams mentioned(Minnesota and Portland), because they have potentially tradeable assets that could make a difference, rather than trading the #1 to OKC for parts.

Love the pause by Stern after saying "The Cleveland Cavaliers select..."

Also, did anyone have Bennett No. 1?
