. @Aisle424 He did not hit any person, no. Just the walls or fence of the dugout.

Soler grabbed a bat and charged Threshers dugout and started hitting the dugout (not the player) with a bat.

holy [expletive]

Sure it wasn't Baez? That feels like something Baez would do.

Well that's certainly gonna raise some makeup concerns.

Well yeah. I definitely want to hear more on it and I'm sure we will. But I can't imagine a scenario where Soler comes off as being justified.

After Bruno hit into a double play, Soler slid in hard to 2nd. The 2nd baseman and Soler got into an argument and Baez broke it up. Then Soler went into his own dugout got a bat and went after the Clearwater player.

OK, apparently the bases were loaded, with Soler at first. There was a DP. Soler had words with the 2b. Baez charges over and has to be restrained. Baseball "brawl" ensues (probably just a bunch of standing around jawing at each other). Then when it seems about calmed down, Soler comes flying out of the dugout with a bat.

From Bleacher Nation: http://www.bleachernation.com/2013/04/10/jorge-soler-ejected-in-bench-clearing-brawl-there-may-have-been-a-bat-involved/

UPDATE: Julio, in the comments, was listening to the game: ”Soler slid hard to break up a DP. The second baseman didn’t like it and said something. They shoved each other. Javy broke it up. Benches cleared, everyone went back to dugout (including Soler). Soler then left the dugout with a bat, walked across the diamond and hit the wall, I believe he only hit it once. The announcers speculated it’d be a week suspension. I’d guess two.”

Hope it's as *tame* as that.

Up to the minute analysis with Jason Parks

Jason Parks @ProfessorParks

It's aggressive and dangerous but you could call it a form of #want. RT @NickMynuk @ProfessorParks does soler dugout fight display #want?
