Rain delay in Geneva...

I don't foresee that one ending.

Scott with a rough day after that great first outing. 3 hits and 5 walks in 2 innings.

(Quote posted in yesterday's game thread.)

I wouldn't be too concerned given his track record with control combined with the wet, cold, windy weather today (besides, he's from Soutg Africa and went to HS in Arizona).

Rademacher just missed a HR (blown in due to the wind). Outfielder misplayed it and dropped it but Rademacher ended up being out for passing the base runner already on at first base.

Trey Martin with a big 2-run double, bringing Kane County to within 1. Martin jumps over .100 and is now ahead of Marco Hernandez for worst BA on Kane County (.143 vs .120).

With Kane County down 10-4, Bijan Rademacher came in to pitch - 1 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 0 K.

Keep in mind most scouting reports indicated he was a far better prospect as a pitcher than as a hitter but he wouldn't sign unless he could hit professionally.

Dorris is an upper 80's velo guy, isn't he? I know AZPhil was impressed with him and called him a guy that could move quickly. But is it strictly because he's a polished lefty?

I like it. It was 13th round, and you know he'll agree to pitch if he flames out as a hitter.

If Kyle needs to help anyone, it's KC's middle infield and centerfielder. Hopefully those bats will warm up with the weather.

Now a Taiwan Easterline 3-run HR.

Brett and Vogelbach have a walk today as well. Candelario had 3. Kyle thwarted on this one for a few days at least.

Soler grabbed a bat and charged Threshers dugout and started hitting the dugout (not the player) with a bat.
