AllThingsD reports that top execs from Google and YouTube met with the National Football League on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of picking up the Sunday Ticket package, which broadcasts games not being shown in the local market.

DirecTV currently has rights to the Sunday Ticket package — something it pays $1 billion a year for — but that deal expires at the end of the 2014 season. That said, the NFL appears to be in the early stages of talking with other possible partners.

The Bucs have a MRSA problem at their facility. Nicks and Tynes have it. That's not good at all. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9592149/tampa-bay-buccaneers-treat-facility-prevent-mrsa-outbreak

The Bucs signed place-kicker Rian Lindell on the same day Tynes had his surgery, in which the infection was scraped from his toe and his toe bone.

I have a buddy in Vegas and I'm thinking of putting this 5 bet parlay together on o/u

Over TB- 7.5 wins

Over ATL- 10 wins

Over DET- 8 wins

Under GB- 10.5 wins

Under IND- 8.5 wins

Thoughts?

Very interested to see how this works out post-2014.

Kawann Short had 3 TFL's including a Sack and an additional QB hit last night. Guy is going to be a beast as long as he stays motivated.

I know you're a Purdue guy, but any talk of last night's game that doesn't include Luke Kuechly is pointless. That guy's an absolute monster. Directly forced 2 turnovers and basically forced another.

I would be hesitant for two reasons. Tampa/Atlanta are division opponents and you are taking the over with both, despite the presence of a still dangerous New Orleans in their division and a potentially interesting Carolina.

You are also putting a lot of faith in Detroit, who has won 9 games once in the last 350 years. I think you have to count on one of the Bears and Vikings to take a nosedive to make that bet, but you are also betting on GB taking a step back.

Only because Short wasn't giving Flacco time to think. :D No, but seriously the Panther D looked really good last night. Lotulelei was getting pressure too.

Lotulelei was PFF's top rated player from the game.

Somebody teach RG3 how to do a pull-up please.

Looks like a perfectly executed CrossFit pull-up, if you ask me...

MRSA is no joke.

Interesting development, I think, in that Bucs MRSA situation. Tynes doesn't like how they are handling his case. Instead of IR, they placed him on the non-football injury list -- so he won't get additional benefits beyond his salary this year. Also, his MRSA isn't cured yet, and it looks like the Bucs don't want to admit it definitely came from their facility. That's a tough sell IMHO, because another player also contracted it.
