dolphins tag starks, leaving long to walk. still would rather have albert, those [expletive] lowdown dirty chief [expletive] just tag bowe you asses.

Local radio seems to think that it's a choice between which of Albert or Bowe signs a long term deal while the other gets tagged, as opposed to letting one of them walk.

well that would certainly suck.

Someone close to the Chiefs situation told me its a race on who signs a long term deal between Albert/Bowe and the other one gets the tag.

Of course, this kinda relies on one of them actually agreeing to a deal.

I'm with raw - I think you're going to get shut out of the impact OL at 20 and you can't trade down, I'd rather go after a guy like Tavon Austin instead of Eifert. Then, grab an interior OL in rd 2 like Jones, Frederick or maybe Thomas.

Ideal situation would be a guy like Cooper falling to 20. Take BPA between TE and WR in rd 2 (Ertz, Escobar, Wheaton, Stills, Bailey or some other quick twitch WR I forgot).

I just like the idea of doing something in free agency @ OL.

It makes it clear that OL is a priority, which obviously it needs to be. And then it makes the Bears more flexible on draft day by removing (or decreasing) the position pressure to pick up OL at all costs.

It's a double win.

the obvious question is why wouldn't albert or bowe want to hit the market? you think albert wants to return to KC below market value and lose a lot of games again? if he's returning to the chiefs, they better be the highest bidder.

Branden Albert‏@Balbert76

How many people keep refreshing their twitter??

lol, i keep refreshing rotoworld

It's a Chiefs message board for me. Apparently a local radio station thinks they will, and should, let Albert walk.

EDIT: If you were asking about the radio station, they said 610.

thanks, i was talking about the board. most of the smart people there want to hang on to albert.

I'd prefer Cook when you figure into the equation that Finley has a big mouth that says stupid things.

Also Charlie Cambell's latest mock draft has the Bears going Ogletree, Ertz and a 4th round OT with our first 3 picks.

of course the chiefs and big fat beef-a-roni butt are taking this right up until the deadline. [expletive] them. [expletive] it all.

What time is the deadline?

So....Cook or Finley?

LT and Melton are priorities and I'm not sure the Bears can afford much more after that.

gah, looks like bowe signed and albert will be tagged.

@nfldraftscout: #Chiefs have not tagged LT Brandon Albert or WR Dwayne Bowe. Luke Joeckel will be looking for good BBQ recommendations
