Just say no to a college coach plz. k thx bai

They are talking about how most of Emery's contacts are in the college game because of all the scouting work he still does. Of course this doesnt mean the hire will be out of the college game, but those are the people who he is most familiar with.

The Bears have already asked for permission to interview Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. He's a very, very hot name right now.

YES.

Frustrations certainly boiled over for Bears all around. Source told me two offensive players almost came to blows on sideline in Arizona.

Also, I LOVE how aggressively they are making decisions today. The old Bears don't make this decision until like Thursday. It's 10:30 the day after the season and they've already fired the coach and are agressively reaching out to candidates.

This should be some fun speculation.

Sad as it is to say, I'm going to guess Marshall was one of the participants.

I think Cutler and Marshall are watched too much for it to be either of them and it not be caught on camera. I'm gonna say it was O-line guys.

Then it's totally justified.

Ill remain excited about this move until I hear a name like "Shea Mcclellin" in the coaching world and immediate return to the verbal vomit and bile.

Chris Petersen?

This is a great day for the Bears, if only because we now can be confident that Emery can run his own show.

And that's a good thing?

vs. Phillips and ownership having their way? Yes, it'd be hard for it to be a bad thing.

We knew he was running the show already. The tired talk of the McCaskeys handcuffing people has been meaningless fan babbling.

I've already had a relative saying he wants Singletary. I momentarily blacked out after I heard that.

#Bears are trying to capitalize on a window to interview Mike McCoy, since the Broncos have a first-round bye.

Marshall was looking extremely frustrated that entire game. I would assume he was involved.

That gives you some early indication of what types of candidates they are looking for.

Brian Urlacher definitely disappointed about Lovie Smith being fired but he declined to comment on it at this time.

It's still good to see an immediate, decisive move.

he's not related to the Texas raping McCoy is he?

We have to assume Tebow would come with him right?

An OC that has made the playoffs two years in a row, with Tebow as starting QB and with Peyton.

yes. I'm pleasantly surprised, similar to after the Marshall trade. But then the rest of the offseason happened and the draft, which negated much of that optimism. Hope this works out better.
