Maybe Peanut should just punch the baby out right now so he can be ready for kickoff.

Yeah, that joke has made it's way around the web today. :)

Posted my Game preview on my blog. You MFs should read it. Good stuff.

Cody being out could be huge. Because Garza's terrible and Cody's pretty good. If Owen Daniels is out (he won't be) and Tillman does play, I believe he can shutdown Andre Johnson and Daniels is their 2nd leading receiver, by a good margin. Houston has a problem without those two.

That's crappy analysis but all the good stuff is on the blog.

Hmm...there have definitely been RBs that have had decent to good statistical days against the Bears (like Chris Johnson last week) but I can't remember a RB who has just shredded us constantly in a game for quite some time. Benson with the Bengals in 2009 ran freely against us but that's the last one I can remember clearly.

That Giants game back in 2010 sticks out. We gave up a lot of yards to Ahmad Bradshaw, on 20+ carries. Jacobs added in a few more carries for good yardage.

We've given up big yardage to teams, but looking back, some of them were due to a really long single run.

Florio says you work 16 days a year and you should be there for those 16 days no matter what. Where do you draw the line then? What if a player's mom died the night before a game....are you forcing them to play then? Do you even want them playing hours after a close family member dies? Not everyone is Brett Favre. Do you trust Tillman to mentally be 100% in the game when he knows his wife is pushing out a kid at that very moment? What if there were complications in the birth? How horrible would it be if something went wrong and he wasn't there to help/comfort his wife, etc.? Does Florio know that Tillman once had a baby born with an enlarged heart that almost died?

What a moron.

Not to mention they work a lot more than 16 days a year. Practices, OTA's, minicamps, etc.

Florio would presumably respond that none of those days matter near as much 16 days on which you play games.

I would respond that not every couple can say, "Let's get pregers in August or September" and magically make it go to plan. Many people have to try for a while for lots of reasons.

Tillman tweeted to the account of ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike In The Morning": "god, family, football... Baby is coming Monday don't worry I'll be there Sunday."

Must be a slow news week in the NFL for this to become a debate in the national sports media.

Yeah I did a double take to make sure I wasn't listening to a local show when I realized Mike and Mike were talking about it this morning.
