The rain in Baltimore is messing with one of the best days of the year, the wonderful confluence of four playoff games that run from Noon to Midnight.

We may get a couple more - Wednesday and Thursday if no one is eliminated before then.

Feels like the Yankees always make a pitcher work. A lot of their games I watch, the pitcher gets outs early but throw a lot of pitches until, eventually, they break through with a big inning. I'd it, if they weren't the Yankees.

ugh, the reds are gonna win it all aren't they

Other than the Cardinals, that's the team that I would least like to see win it. Another one of those teams we used to laugh at for being bad winning a title ahead of us.

Normally I'd have no problem with the Reds winning it, but man, not under Dusty. If he dies before it happens, however, then it's totally cool.

I just don't have that much Reds hate. I get it but I don't feel it, at all. I also don't live in Ohio though.

Ugh, my fiance's family is from Cincinnati. They liked to rub it in when the Cubs suck, and don't get me started about the abuse I took when the Bengals blew out the Bears a couple of years ago. At first I kinda cheered for them because they made my fiance happy, but [expletive] them now.

Edit: and of course the Reds winning it despite Dusty, ugh x2

Looks like I'm all in on Washington in the NL now.

Everyone rubs it in that the Cubs suck because the Cubs suck. If that's your criteria then you might as well hate everyone.

Yeah thats a solid point.

f the reds and all their fans. i'd rather the cardinals win, because seriously, what's 1 more title to them? the most fairweather fans in baseball from the most fairweather city don't deserve a championship.

Well, they would if they cared enough to.

Lot of ex-Cubs (major and minor leaguers) on these playoff teams.

Orioles:

Ryan Flaherty

Yankees:

Clay Rapada

Casey McGehee (not on ALDS roster, consideration for ALCS)

David Aardsma (ineligable for postseason roster)

Rangers: (technically on the Rangers postseason roster)

Ryan Dempster

Geovany Soto

Oakland A's:

Josh Donaldson

Tigers:

Al Albuquerque

Reds:

Sean Marshall

Nationals:

Tom Gorzelanny

Chad Tracy

Mark DeRosa (didnt make NLDS roster. Supposedly a good chance to make NLCS roster)

Giants:

Ryan Theriot

Angel Pagan

Braves: (again technically)

Paul Maholm

Jeff Baker

Reed Johnson

Question: If a magic genie said you could:

1. Choose that the Reds win the World Series (meaning the Cardinals don't)

OR

2. Take your chances that neither of them will win the World Series and just let it play out

What would you do?

I take number 1 without even thinking about it.
